This morning we looked out of our back door and saw our big cactus in blooms in the backyard. Peter took it out in May, I guess and seems that it really liked the hot weather we had for about 2 months. Of course, it was quite a desert's weather. There were 8 big pretty blossoms. I went out for several times, feet wet of dew on the grass, and enjoyed this magnificent scene. Now the blossoms are all closed. But I'm very happy we were able to catch this magic.
