Baseball evening

We went to Des Moines yesterday to watch a baseball game. It seems to be a real American sport where parents even take their babies. And it's amzing to see how these few months old babies sat there bare-headed while Priit had his cap on and I even felt I had to put Peter's jacket on. It's apparently the question of getting used to such thing - to wind mostly. The evening was nice though and we had good time after having a rather rough morning and afternoon. I also took some great pictures of Priit and Peter, good eye-contact and smiles. The Iowa team, Iowa Cubes dominated the whole game from the start, so there wasn't much tention and I had time to look around at people and feel the ambiency.

On edge

I think that the 3 month went pretty well. But the last few weeks I've been somehow anxious. I guess that the main reason is uncertainy of my future visions. And this makes me wander around the house, not doing anything reasonable. Whether to try to continue my medical career here or focus on something else, it's a queastion which I'm not able to answer. Thinking about trying to get into residency - it really must be a crazy thought. Didn't I feel relieved after finishing my practice back home! What am I thinking right now, then?!

I think, it's actually the first time, I feel really homesick. I miss the communication, I miss the places, I miss the people... I miss being someone. Perhaps it's partly because Pete has working for 10-hours schedule for quite a while now and also worked the last weekends on his own projects. The money problem, a "present" from my past - a constant source of unconscious anxiety.

Well, after all, I'm not depressed. I have my loved ones - my son and he's doing well (with all his tantrums, which are not too bad considering all), it's been amazing to see how he has become bilingual with such a short time; my husband with whom I match really well (I think I didn't even believe anymore that it could be possible to feel myself so well with someone, did I?) and I have my home, a house which suits so well for us, a nice backyard with all the flowers, raspberries and strawberries.... mmmmm.....

It's time to organize myself better.
